Resident Evil Aftermath

The mod is finally available ! I've worked hard with the others to make the mod playable :D
I've finally find a name for it. Exit REM (Resident Evil Mod) now it can be called REA, Resident Evil: Aftermath !

The mod require all Fuzetek's files and F.O.S.E.
Installation :
     download Resident Evil Aftermath.zip and Resident Evil Aftermath - biohazard update.zip
     Resident Evil Aftermath - Custom Hud.zip (optional) and Resident Evil Aftermath - 3rd person view.zip (optional)
     - decompress Resident Evil Aftermath.zip first and Resident Evil Aftermath - biohazard update.zip after.
     - put the video folder into your fallout/data directory
     - put the content of the data folder into your fallout/data directory
     - put the esp,esm and bsa into your fallout/data directory
     - put the content of the REA - biohazard update.zip into your fallout/data directory (this folder update more biohazard meshes than the one in REA.zip)

So you'll have:
fallout/data:
     - meshes/biohazard
                   /biohazard 1.0
                   /biohazard 1.1 (not used yet, available on Fuzetek's blog)

Like it's a total convertion mod, you have to start a new game. The coc bio2start command is no longer available.

About the start crash, possible fix :

New Stuff

Wesker : What a Mansion !

I've converted some new stuff for the mod. Many part of the mansion but i don't know if i will use all of them. Some are laggy, and some need more attention. Anyway i'm not arrived at this part of the story so i'll work them later. for now i'm concentred to released the current state of mod. I've made a Bsa archive. Just to ensure that all script work correctly :)

New story or Remake ?

The Resident Evil Mod is more like a Spin Off than a Remake.
The mod will have it's own story which takes place in Raccoon City and the Arklay Mountains.

Raccoon City Street
Yes,
- you'll see many familiar events from all 3 biohazard games (Brad in the south town, Claire and Sherry in the RPD, encounter Birkin until his G5 transformation, fix the Tramway, etc...)
- visit places known (University, Rpd, Umbrella Facility, Clock Tower, etc...)
- extended places (Stagla Gas Station,...)
- and new places created from scratch :)

You will play a new character created by you and will have to explore and uncover what happened in the town.
Also i've made a special outfit for male and female player characters to give the sensation of playing as an Rpd officer, Bsaa member, Ubcs member etc... instead of playing main resident evil character like Chris, Barry, Rebecca,... who will be important to the story and give missions to the player.
Other character like Billy Coen or L4D characters, will be playable from the start (I'm not including them as part of the story the way I'm using the characters from Resident Evil 1 through 3)

The story will be separated in 3 parts with sub missions.
- Part 1: Cause and Effect (not final name, it reminds me of an old mod for half life ^^)
You'll wake up in a hotel in panic. Discover that the city is devastated by a strange virus which transforms people into cannibal creatures. At this point, you'll be confused and focused on your own survival.
- Part 2: The investigation (not final name)
You will have to find clues, save important people, find special objects, create an anti-virus, escort people...
- Part 3: (no name yet)
Finally, with the Stars Alpha Team, you'll have to destroy the main epicentre of the propagation of the virus.

- IceCarpediem : Game tester and bug finder,
- MontyBrad : Very experienced in map creating, author of many mod for Tes4
- Cole : 2d and 3d artiste

New Stuff and City Part

Evolved Jules
I decided to change some part of the bio2/bio3 stories with new areas :
- New starting place (You will start in a building near the original start place and heard the crash between the police car and the truck)
- New interiors
- RC Hotel
- Better Tramway Station
- New Metro (to link with new place)
- New park
- extended Stagla Gas Station, and more...)

New creatures :
- Licker/evolved Licker with/without tongue attack (with the epic decapitation attack :D)
- Hunter Alpha/Sweeper/R (need sound)
- Giant Spiders (Web Spinner, Black Widow, Jumping Maneater)

- Evolved Jules (you can see him in my wesker walkthoug)

Here they are !!!

The Alligator !!!

Finally, i finish him (90%, just sound left). All animations works perfectly. Prepare you to being eaten *,..,* The game play will be the same as the original game, hit the barrel will cause more damage than a weapon.



bonus : The G-5 first test :D

Now, i'm on creating the G-5. I think he will have only 1 or 2 animations cause when i've looked its animations, all parts of his body is key-framed but not all part are animated so i can't import different animation in the same work file :/ the only thing i think is to remove non-animated part and make the rest an idle anim with high priority. Personally, i've chosen to make only one animation. So when he want to hit, equip, unequip etc, it will be the same animation ^^

The Legacy HD Mugen


Second mod qui date d'il y a 1 ou 2 ans maintenant. Sur la base du moteur de jeux mugen (elecbyte), The Legacy HD (pas très hd d'ailleurs) est un jeux de combat 2D reprenant les plus grand combattant des univers capcom et snk. Au niveau de l’avancement du projet, il est stand by pour le moment. Le gros problème est que j'ai peut être vue les choses trop grandes par rapport au limite du moteur, à savoir que tous les combattant serait d'une qualité visuel amélioré (Low res => Hight res) ainsi que leurs arènes avec musique, dialogue, coup spéciaux selon avec fond et vidéo d'intro/fin personnalisé (en particulier pour les persos Snk et Autres vue que les Capcoms ont déjà les leurs). Et donc justement, les limites du moteur ne permet pas d'insérer directement une vidéo monté mes une succession de frames simulant la vidéo. Cela a donc pour conséquence d’augmenter considérablement le poids total du jeu inutilement (3gb+). En espèrent que ce soit changé dans les prochaines version de mugen, il restera non fini.


Fallout 3 - Raccoon City mod

Rebonjour, voici le premier mod que je vous présente. D'abord créer par Fuzetek (Biohazard 2), mon mod reprend ses bases et y ajoute une multitude d'événement, lieu, personnages, etc...
Il mixe les histoires de plusieurs Résident Evil, à savoir le 1-2-3-Outbreak 1-2. Pour le moment, il n'est qu'au stade de bêta. La ville n'est pas fini, les personnage ne sont pas encore tous utilisés etc, etc...
C'est le mod qui me prend le plus la tête si je peut dire étant donné qu'il mélange des connaissances dans l'utilisation du Geck (Garden of Eden Création Kit), la création de script, la modélisation 3d (3ds max, Blender) et la création d’animation. C'est mon plus grand projet à ce jour et j'espère bien le mener à terme !

Pour pouvoir essayer cette bêta, il vous le jeu Fallout 3 =P, ainsi que les 3 packs du mod Biohazard 2 de Fuzetek et mon mod bien sur. L'installation simple est expliqué dans le readme.
